Middle Beach Community Emergency Management Plan products

The coastal community of Middle Beach, north of Adelaide in South Australia, is vulnerable to flooding during high and king tides. A Community Emergency Management Plan was developed to ensure everyone’s safety during these events. It was important that the community had input to the plan’s development and were aware of the actions to take during a flood emergency.

We worked with Rohan Hamden & Associates and Scientell to develop and produce a number of communication products to ensure that Community Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) was useful and accessible to the Middle Beach community.

We developed branding for the campaign which was used on all the products. We prepared content for the CEMP document and a series of community fact sheets, which we also designed and produced. To ensure ready access to the CEMP we developed a poster and fridge magnet, outlining the key steps in the plan and appropriate actions.

The CEMP document and poster are available on the Adelaide Plains Council website.
